A Quiet Piece of Longing is now available in paperback on Amazon. It costs $8.99 and is 95 pages long. It’s a novella about a young, disconnected, man going on a road trip after his wife suffers a miscarriage, and turning to sex, drugs, and crime. It was partially inspired by my experiences in jail and with DPDR.
I wrote the book in thirty-five days. 51k words written between the first and second draft. Then I spent an entire month editing it. And honestly? I’m pretty proud of it. I’m a published author now!
